Internationally renowned Indian actor Shah Rukh Khan has agreed to become an Ambassador for INTERPOL’s Turn Back Crime campaign to promote greater awareness of how each of us can have a role in preventing crime.

The multi-award winning actor, the first Indian to be made an Ambassador for the global campaign, is lending his voice to help spread the message that all of society benefits when citizens respect the law and fight crime.

“It’s a very special honour to be a part of INTERPOL’s Turn Back Crime Campaign as an Ambassador. As Mahatma Gandhi once said, ‘I shall not fear anyone on Earth. I shall fear only God. I shall not bear ill will toward anyone. I shall not submit to injustice from anyone. I shall conquer untruth by truth. And in resisting untruth, I shall put up with all suffering, if I have to.’. We all should believe in this maxim and in whatever way possible resolve not to let unjust people who might threaten us with criminal activity make us fear them. Because I believe we can, we should, and we must stand together against the few who commit crimes against any human being, in whatever form or guise these crimes might take,” said SRK.

They are unarguably one of the best on-screen pairs Bollywood has ever seen. Shahrukh Khan and Kajol may have come a long way since their blockbuster film Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge (1995), but their fans still want to see them together.

If recent reports are to be believed then director Rohit Shetty, currently soaking in the Singham Returns success, has been able to rope in Kajol opposite Shahrukh Khan for his next.

It’s no news that Rohit Shetty’s next is with Shahrukh, but the remaining cast is yet to be confirmed. If Rohit has indeed got Kajol to romance Shahrukh on-screen, then it’s no less than a casting coup. Till now, only Karan Johar has been able to cast the two in his films.

Shah Rukh Khan is as inimitable as ever. Even in between an ad shoot, he is his jovial self, as he discusses films, business, his love for sports, and why he doesn’t feel the pressure of the Rs. 100 crore club.

Karan Johar recently announced a film with Salman Khan, but he’s said you’ll always be special to him. Will we see you working together soon?
There’s nothing [in the pipeline]. He did offer me one [film]. At this point, what I have on my plate is Fan, then Raees, then hopefully Rohit’s [Shetty] film, and then one more which I can’t talk about right now. So I have four films lined up, and I’m pressed for time with Happy New Year, so I don’t think there’s anything for another year at least.

You said Karan offered you a film.
Yeah, he offered me one of the films he was making, but I don’t have the time to do it.
