When Shah Rukh Khan came to the Garden City to watch his IPL team take on Team Bangalore on Saturday, he proved he could
wield the bat during a friendly 10-over-a-team match.
And now, he has also proven that he is a versatile dancer when he shook a leg,
Bharatanatyam style, for his forthcoming RA.One.
SRK will be seen performing Bharatanatyam steps in the song Chamak Challo alongside Kareena
Kapoor, who will sizzle on-screen in a saree. "SRK will be a wearing a formal three-piece suit. In the song, he comes across a group of dancers that
is performing Bharatanatyam. Since he is a superhero, he can do anything. So he tries to get the steps right. He has actually danced with a lot of
panache," says Ganesh Hegde, who did the choreography for SRK for this song.
According to Ganesh, this was the most challenging shoot for
Shah Rukh. "Everybody tries to play safe with SRK by giving him simple steps, but I have tried doing new stuff," says Ganesh. The song, Chamak
Challo, has been sung by international singer Akon in Hindi.
