Actor Shah Rukh has refused to play the role of IPL Commissioner Lalit Modi despite being asked by Modi himself. The role is for the film Commissioner based on Modi’s life seen from the perspective of a journalist, reported the Mumbai Mirror. While the exact reason has not been stated, the actor possibly rejected the role since he himself is so closely related with the league. It’s also possible that he refused to get involved with the IPL in the light of all the recent controversy around the League and its commissioner.
“When the film was announced, everything was very rosy on the IPL front. But after the recent controversy on Lalit Modi, it has become a very sensitive topic,” a source told the tabloid.

His Ra.One may be a massive VFX extravaganza but after the release of the superhero flick and the sequel to Don, Shah Rukh Khan wants to make a “small” romantic comedy.
Khan reveals that he’s been meeting with newer directors to work out the logistics of the movie. "But no one wants to make a small film with me," he jokes. "I've had a chat with a lot of wonderful, new guys like Anurag Basu, Imtiaz Ali, Anurag Kashyap and Vishal Bharadwaj and I’ve told them that I want to make a small, interesting and stylised purely romantic film on characters my age. I want to produce it under the Red Chillies banner, but no one’s come up with a script yet."

Shah Rukh has decided he will be part of every Karan Johar production in some capacity or the other.
In I Hate Luv Storys Shah Rukh did a small voiceover. Unfortunately he couldn't be accommodated anywhere in We Are Family although SRK was quite adamant to feature somehow. "Ek photo hi daal do kisi shot mein," he kept urging Karan.
Not one to give up even when his wish has gone way past its fulfillment phase SRK barged in sportingly at a media meet with Kareena Kapoor and Arjun Rampal and insisted on conducting an interview with the pair... "Just as a good luck charm," as SRK put it.

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan isn’t intimidated by the full body-scan machines that have been recently installed at London’s airports - in fact, he’s been signing off printouts of his X-rays.
